Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County has been proud to serve the Hamilton area since 1968, providing many quality mentoring relationships to children.
Since 1976, we have been fortunate to have developed a strong partnership with the Butler County United Way. Without their financial support, we would not be able to maintain our quality-driven, after-school mentoring programs at 23 local elementary schools. We would not be able to match up children throughout the area using our community-based option.
The bottom line is that we would not be able to help more than 900 local children become successful and caring adults.
United Way speaks to the ideal of “Live United” in all of its literature. When we step up to volunteer to mentor a child, we do this. When we speak up for those less fortunate, we do this. When we pool our donations together by giving to the local United Way campaign, we are doing this.
I ask you to please give generously to United Way. Don’t wait for someone else to do it. It is our responsibility and our privilege to live united and care for others.
