Get past ‘half-truths’ and ‘double-talk’

If there was ever a time for U.S. citizens to do their political homework, it is now. The misleading double-talk and half- truths presented in the (Oct. 25) commentary by Cal Thomas (“Why Obama picks on Fox News”) should be enough to challenge everyone to do some serious research and do their own thinking.

The Fox News network is owned by an Australian billionaire named Rupert Murdock. Mr. Murdock’s political agenda does not permit fair and balanced reporting, as Fox News proclaims. ...

After reading about Mr. Murdock, I have concluded that his trustworthiness in allowing his media employees to actually be “fair and balanced” is — to say the least — questionable. To say the most, it is a hoax.

The "entitlement" community doesn't like FOX, but they must of been watching to develope a distaste for FOX. I can't blame them either becuase I couldn't stand Olbermann and Maddow for the long either

Mr. Gibson's take on Fox News demonstrates he might be somewhat liberal. I am thankful for Fox News! The major networks obviously support a liberal agenda. At any rate, we know what we have in the Obama Administration. They plan to turn our government into a socialist, limit our freedom, control our everything, unconstitutional organization. The constitution says, "We the people!" It does not tell us we have to give up the ship to the likes of Obama and Pelosi. These people have their nerve!

The plain news is extinct. All media outlets now "color" their stories with opinion. NBC and msnbc are owned by General Electric. General Electric is being given billions of dollars by THIS administration to build green technology due to the global warming hoax. Intelligent people can watch any "news" service and be able to glean the facts out of the story, and then either agree or dis-agree with the slant.

Mr. Gibson should also include the ties that President Obama has to Acorn. How the President and Acorn have so much in common such as "community organizing!" Thankfully, Fox News has been there for our nation and the conservative. It seems the dems own the other networks. I wonder what dictator the President will bow to in the near future. Istead of bowing to the man in Iran I wouldn't have been there to look at him. Mr. Gibson, Your half truths won't cover up the Obama mess!
