Get past ‘half-truths’ and ‘double-talk’

If there was ever a time for U.S. citizens to do their political homework, it is now. The misleading double-talk and half- truths presented in the (Oct. 25) commentary by Cal Thomas (“Why Obama picks on Fox News”) should be enough to challenge everyone to do some serious research and do their own thinking.

The Fox News network is owned by an Australian billionaire named Rupert Murdock. Mr. Murdock’s political agenda does not permit fair and balanced reporting, as Fox News proclaims. ...

After reading about Mr. Murdock, I have concluded that his trustworthiness in allowing his media employees to actually be “fair and balanced” is — to say the least — questionable. To say the most, it is a hoax.
