As an average voter, I am sick and tired of both political parties. With all the talk of bipartisanship, it seems clear to me the definitions used in Washington for “bipartisanship” and “compromise” are far different from common sense (as if that’s a surprise).
To the average person, both terms mean you start with what you have in common (middle ground) and work from there. Both parties have some good goals and both have some horrible ideas.
Right now we are looking at about a $13 trillion debt. Both parties put us there. ... We will never be able to pay that debt off.
... To pay for this health care fiasco, how is my Social Security going to be affected? When my checkbook is empty, I can’t keep writing checks. So how is it that Washington still can? ...
