Dark in the morning, dark at night

I would like to see our politicians — (Courtney) Combs, (Gary) Cates and (John) Boehner — lobby to keep our time at daylight-saving time. It is no fun when it’s dark at night and dark in the morning. It is very depressing. I am all for keeping daylight-saving time 12 months out of the year.

... The sheriff wouldn’t have to lay anybody off if he wouldn’t have squandered a million and a quarter on the old jail remodeling. He would have had plenty of money to pay the deputies.

Can someone tell me why our legislators are having trouble coming up with a health plan for the American people? I never hear of any congressmen or senators complaining about their health care plan. It looks plain and simple to me. Why not give the American citizens the same plan that they have? Are they that much better than the rest of us? I always heard that we were all created equal. So what’s the problem? Think about it.

Don't you people complaining about DST have it figured out? The days are getting shorter, no matter what the clock says and no legislator can fix that! I for one like the fact that it is lighter in the morning when I get up! Not to mention the extra hour that the bars stayed open on Halloween.

You don't see obama, pelosi,or anyone else want to repeal it. Joe Wilson is proposing a plan that requires all members of congress to have to enroll in this public option crap. Let's see who will sign on to his plan.

I was just talking about the same thing. It is depressing for it to be pretty much dark by 5:30.

On the healthcare comment, the VA is government run. If its great for the troops, it is good enough for us. You sure don't see Boehner wanting to repeal the VA.
