Hot Topics

If there’s one thing the American people should demand of their elected representatives, it’s that’s we should know what’s in bills before we vote on them.

MR. Boehner, I have patiently listened and researched as the days go by and Our Country fades into the global horizon my mind is screaming enough. With reason & determination stop needless spending Where, do I sign to get my voice heard - do I go to make a difference. Future generations will not know they ever had choices. The government is accountable for their actions and the repercussions.

Stop ALL SPENDING - THE HEALTH BILL - CAP AND TRADE AND NON STIMULATING STIMULUS!
THANK YOU SIR

Ditto Mike Presta. I am tired of hearing Boehner cry about everything since January. I watched him cry last summer, too. He helped bail out the banks when McCain left the campaign trail, remember? They shoved that down our throats in lock step with W.

I keep asking the same questions. Where are the jobs? All the democrats have to offer is excuses to spend our money. They have not helped businesses to create new jobs, which will help to stimulate the economy. On behalf of all of my laid off friends, I ask "Show me the jobs!" And I do not mean government or entry level, but real jobs to help those who have been laid off. Thanks Congressman Boehner for getting the answers for us. Where is the stimulus money going? It is not jobs.

Mike, even though the Republican administration was not perfect, I never saw such a blatant shoving down of legislation as has happened with the so-called stimulus bill and the most recent cap-and-tax bill. The Congress is behaving not like representatives, but more like imperious royalty.

I saw John Boehner's testimony on the House floor last Friday, where he actually READ portions of this 1300-page bill. Although it proved futile, at least he tried.

The public needs to wake up.

With all due respect, Congressman, many of us aready know all of that!!! We know it now, we knew it before the elections, and we knew it back when the Republicans were in control and similar things occured.

The question is, Sir, when will you start doing something about it???

Haven't you noticed that you have lost the support of good conservatives since you have been allowing such things to happen unchallenged?
