Who is Rep. John Boehner? This past weekend as he sat imperiously in his chair, pontificating while being interviewed on one of the Sunday news programs, the real John Boehner was revealed.

He said the Republicans would do everything they could to stop the health care plan. He said Americans had the best health care system in the world.

Who is he kidding? Survey after survey and the accumulated data from these surveys show that the United States does not have the best health care system in the world, based on a number of factors, including infant mortality, cost, longevity and coverage.

Far too many people in Ohio’s 8th Congressional District do not have any coverage. Many more have insufficient plans. Others cannot afford coverage. Others are denied coverage because of pre-existing conditions.

Our elitist congressman has one of the best health plans in the nation and it is paid for by the government (taxpayers) and he will keep this plan when he leaves office. Clearly, John Boehner is not serving his constituents.

It is long past the time that the 8th Congressional District had a congressman that truly served the interests of the people, rather than his own interests. It has never been clearer that it is time for a change this coming November.
