‘A great message’

The third- and fourth-grade students and staff of Van Buren Elementary would like to thank the students and staff of Cirque de Fillmore for inviting us to attend their performance, on our last Friday of the 2008-09 school year. What a terrific way to end a terrific year!

We enjoyed every moment of the fun-filled performance, and what a great message they sent to their students and to viewers in the audience, about practice, perseverance, self-respect and participation in a community effort.

Thank you again to Mr. (Rex) Bucheit, for including Van Buren in that spectacular event.
