20 hours in the dark

Once again there was another storm and again I had no power for at least 20 hours. I guess I should really thank the Hamilton utility department for saving me on the electric bill I’m going to get next month. After all, my next bill should be a lot smaller.

I want to thank the Hamilton police and fire departments. This recent storm showed that we need these people. Don’t lay them off. ... You need them, City Council. ... Lay off someone else.

There are weeds growing from the overhang of the building next to the beautifully restored Mercantile Building on High Street. The weeds are also a detraction from the restored building across High Street.
