Caesar Creek Lake: Fishing has been very good for crappies, white bass, bluegills, bass and saugeyes. For crappies, fish in 20 feet of water at depths of 8-12 feet. White bass have been hitting minnows and flashy spinners in the creeks. Saugeyes are biting on the flats. Try jigging a bass minnow or nightcrawler or troll with a spinner bait or nightcrawler harness around the island. Bluegills are in the coves around stickups, 4-5 feet deep, biting on waxworms or redworms. Bass are along the banks, 3-5 feet deep. Try plastics or spinnerbaits. Use topwater early and late. Muskies are still hitting around the Ohio 73 bridge and in Musky Cove.

Indian Lake: Fish around any bridge to catch saugeyes. Some anglers are casting Vib-Es, but most saugeyes are being caught on bass minnows fished close to the bottom. Crappies have been hitting minnows in the Moundwood channel with the best bite early and late. Bluegills have been biting along the rocks about a foot deep.

C.J. Brown Reservoir: Crappie fishing has been good around the marina and in the sunken trees. Use minnows and fish at varying depths. Bluegills have been hitting waxworms and redworms around the fish attractors near the ramp. Anglers are picking up walleyes by trolling with nightcrawler harnesses or Reef Runners over the old roadbed. Good catfish fishing has been reported at night.

Lake Loramie: Crappie fishing has been good in brush and around docks and pontoons. Try fishing with black/chartreuse tubes for shooting pontoons or small white jigs in the brush. Bluegills are hitting jigs tipped with waxworms in the brush. Catfish are hitting just about any bait anywhere in the lake. A few saugeyes have been caught around the Luthman Road bridge.

Grand Lake St. Marys: Crappies and bluegills have been biting around docks and under pontoons. Use minnows or small jigs tipped with waxworms. Also try metal strips along seawalls or metal boat lifts. Catfish are hitting nightcrawlers and cut shad.

Paint Creek Lake: The Army Corps of Engineers is drawing down the lake to winter pool and the crappie fishing has picked up. Fish around wood about two feet off of the bottom. Bass have been hitting black worms and jigs around rocky points and wood. Spillway fishing has been good for saugeyes with twisters and Triple Ripples.

Rocky Fork: Bass fishing has been very good around points. Look for wood and throw a firetiger or shad-colored crankbait or work a green/pumpkin worm. Crappies are deep, 16-22 feet. Try jigging with minnows along ledges. Fish the flats to catch white bass with Roostertails and Mepps. Bluegills are hitting waxworms in the coves. For catfish, fish the south beach area with nightcrawlers or cut shad.

Cowan Lake: Fish the dropoffs to catch crappies, mostly with minnows. The area in front of the marina is usually productive at this time of year. Bluegills are biting along the banks and in the brush on waxworms.

Acton Lake: Good crappie fish has been reported all over the lake. Work the banks with minnows, green/pumpkinseed tubes or chartreuse twisters. Bass have been hitting spinnerbaits along the banks in 5-6 feet of water.

Lake Erie: Yellow perch fishing has been fair in the western basin. The best areas have been West Sister Island, Niagara Reef, off of Ballast Island and north or east of Kelleys Island. There have been very few walleye reports from the western basin recently. The best reports have come from Kelleys Island Shoal and Gull Island Shoal.
