Who helps more -“The Boss or the “Redneck Woman?”
Celebrities always flock to political campaigns and this year’s no different.
Both Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama have enlisted movie stars and singers to rally supporters and get out the vote.
Bruce Springsteen - “The Boss” - rocked the Ohio State campus on Oct. 5, drawing thousands of fans to an Obama rally - even if the candidate himself wasn’t there.
McCain is battling back on Wednesday, Oct. 22 when he appears in Cincinnati with country singer Gretchen Wilson of “Redneck Woman” fame. Sarah Palin, McCain’s vice presidential running mate, will be there, too.

Bruce helps Barack, much more than Gretchen Wilson, helps McCain. I feel it is hilarious that McCain/Palin would attempt to align themselves with her and us commoners. Come on, both of them are elitists and would not associate with us “worker bees” if they had to. They are using Republicans who have swallowed their racist and elitist ideas, hook, line and sinker. He has 7 homes, she has spent who knows what on her wardrobe and it has come out of your Republican pockets. And sure she is going to donate it to charity after this is all over. And I have a bridge to nowhere I’d like to offer you!By Lynn

There is something about a woman who sings a song titled “Redneck Woman” that completely turns me off and embarrasses me. Celebs on either side do not sway me personally but it doesn’t bother me. But I definitely do not want “Redneck Woman” representing my candidate of choice.By DT

McCain “sabotage” the vote? You’ve got to be kidding…everyone knows the Democrats are going to “raise the dead” to vote for Obama. If he takes the white house it’ll be the same way Kennedy did, through massive voter fraud.By Curbie54

If celebrity endorsements really mattered, Gov. Huckabee would still be in the race, because you just can’t stop Chuck Norris! Huckabee/Norris (or vice-versa) 2012!By Curbie54

Good point Jack. I really think that neither one makes a difference. I do that though that the crowds at each will be different. As grethen breaks out her famed song, most of the idiot supporters of Palin and mccain well be plotting a lynch mob to sabotage the voting.By JB

If you are swayed by a celebrity, representing either party, I feel sorry for you. Have your own voice.
