Good day Butler County
This is the beginning of a dialogue. And like every conversation, I’ll start with introductions.
My name is Josh Sweigart. Every day I go to work in Hamilton, the Butler County seat, and sort through facts, accusations and proffered research in an attempt to inform Butler County residents of what their county government is, or isn’t, doing for them.
That’s why we’re here. I would like to invite you, dear reader, to let me know what you think about the issues impacting your life in Butler County. First some ground rules. No swearing. No name-calling. Let’s stick to informed debate, okay?
In exchange, I will post breaking news here as it happens. And I’ll attempt to assemble all those little snippets of the greater debate that historically ended up on the cutting room floor, to give you as full a story as possible.
There’s a lot going on in Butler County these days. Some of it is good news. Some of it is bad. Much of it is both, depending on whom you ask.
I am a journalist, not a pundit. I’ll try to analyze some information, but it’s not my job to opine. I am only a moderator here, attempting to help you make your own fully informed decisions.
