Regarding the fireman wearing a cut-off sweatshirt and showing his tattoos: Maybe if your house catches on fire, you should call the fire chief to be sure that the ones who respond to your aid are dressed properly.

Any senior citizen who is a homeowner and votes for that school tax is out of their head. All that money would do is go to more of the biggies in the school system. They'll take all the money for salaries.

Extras

Editor's note: Revenue from the Hamilton City Schools' proposed Nov. 7 bond issue would be legally earmarked for capital improvements and could not be used for salaries.

I am calling in regard to the comments made Sept. 22 by "Jungle" Jim Boniminio. I thought it was odd for him to refer to Goodwill as a "cancer" on Ohio 4, considering that some of us have found his establishment not so aesthetically pleasing. You have to admit his place looks more like a day care for the Flintstones and the Jetsons combined. Maybe the next time Jim does an interview, he should think before inserting his foot in his mouth.

I would like to comment on Jungle Jim's comment in the Sept. 22 JournalNews. Where would he be if people felt that way about him years ago with his little vegetable stand on Ohio 4? This is why West Chester gets everything. Jungle Jim runs business off. I am sure West Chester would be glad to open up a spot for Goodwill.

I want to know who the father of Marcus Fiesel is. In all of the media madness, I have seen no word of him. Should the mother not know who he is, that, too, should be mentioned.

Please do a nice article about the cleanup of the little park (near) the Hamiltonian and Elder Beerman parking lot. It is absolutely beautiful. I love the design and would like some information on some of the ground cover. It is very nice to walk around uptown at lunch and look at everything. Keep up the good improvements, Hamilton.
