A new poll from the University of Akron conducted for this newspaper and other Ohio media outlets found that Clinton has a slight edge in the state over Republican Donald Trump, 41-38. But that 3-percent lead with likely Ohio voters is within the margin of error.
Early voting began in Ohio on Oct. 12. So far, more than 1.2 million absentee ballot applications have been received by election officials, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s office.
