Task force warns Butler County drivers to buckle up or face tickets

The Butler County OVI Task Force is reminding people to buckle up or face getting a ticket this holiday weekend.

The Click It or Ticket campaign runs from May 22 through June 4. Officers, deputies and troopers will be ticketing drivers in Butler County who aren’t wearing their seat belts.

“Save yourself from a fine and save your life,” a task force news release says. “Buckle up.”

The Butler County OVI Task Force is funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
