Tom + Chee opens first Butler County location

The latest and largest Tom + Chee location recently made its Butler County debut.

The 3,200-square-foot fast-casual restaurant, which opened this month at 9328 Union Centre Blvd., West Chester Twp., serves grilled cheese, tomato soup, salads and gluten-free and vegan options.

It also plans to be the first in the chain to serve alcohol, specifically craft wine and craft beer, most of it from local breweries, according to Troy Harden, franchisee for Tom + Chee restaurants outside the Interstate 275 loop.

Cincinnati-based Tom + Chee has 14 locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Georgia and New Jersey.

Harden, a nearly 30-year-veteran of the restaurant industry, most recently served for six years in upper management at Hofbrauhaus Newport. He signed a seven-year deal for the West Chester Twp. property, which combines the former sites of A Cherry on Top frozen yogurt and Sprint.

Hours for the new location are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. For more information, call 513-860-0638.
