Ex-Speaker John Boehner goes off on Congressman Jim Jordan

Former U.S. House Speaker John Boenher unloaded on fellow Ohioan U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Urbana, in a Politico interview highlighting the ex-speaker’s retirement life in West Chester Twp.

When asked by the reporter about Jordan’s chances of replacing House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, Boehner let loose.

“F—- Jordan. F—- Chaffetz. They’re both a———-,” he said of Jordan and Chaffetz, a Utah Republican.

Jordan founded the House Freedom Caucus — a perennial thorn in Boehner’s side that some credit for him stepping down as speaker.

Boehner’s Politico interview revealed the ex-speaker’s deep feelings about Jordan, who he called “A terrorist. A legislative terrorist.”

“Jordan was a terrorist as a legislator going back to his days in the Ohio House and Senate,” Boehner told Politico.

Boehner also said Chaffetz is a “total phony” who, the speaker told Politico, is focused on self-promotion.

Boehner left the House and its speakership in October 2015.
