Reaction to President Trump’s event in Cincinnati

President Donald Trump spoke in Cincinnati on Wednesday and those who were there gave him high marks.

Diane Pragalos, 52, of Centerville

“He was awesome on everything. He’s going to do everything we want,” said Diane Pragalos.

Kevin W. Burch, president of Jet Express, Inc. and chairman of the American Trucking Associations

“He’s making headway. Look how much he’s done in the first 100 days. So we’ve got to forget about all the naysayers,” said Kevin Burch.

Ohio Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor

“We’ve been fortunate in Ohio because we’ve had three years of back to back years record spending on infrastructure improvements in the state of Ohio because we’ve been able to leverage the turnpike that runs across the northern part of our state,” Ohio Lt. Gov Mary Taylor said.

Mac Castellini, 12, Cincinnati

“I feel like he’s going to do a lot of good, probably turn things around for the better,” Mac Castellini said.

David Braucher, 48, of Landen

“I though it was fantastic. He seems very strong. He seems very sincere,” said David Braucher. “If he does half the stuff he talked about: fixing the bridges, fixing the roads, infrastructure - things will be great. And creating more jobs.”

Frani Jones, whose husband Don Jones owns Rivertowne Marina in Cincinnati.

“We’re very excited to be hosting the president of the United States,” Frani Jones said.

Tom Jones, Don Jones’s brother and the chairman of the board of Bryan Equipment Sales in Cincinnati

“If I get a chance to say hello to him I want to say, ‘Thank you,’” said Tom Jones, who believes there is too much bureaucracy for businesses to navigate. “There’s hoops upon hoops and it all adds cost. I think Trump is helping.”
