About Wright State: The Raiders are playing their fourth game in eight days. They finished 1-2 on the three-game road trip that wrapped up Wednesday with a 68-61 loss at Youngstown State. They lost a share of first place with the defeat, but they’re alone in second place. After tonight’s game, they’ll have played every team in the league once, and there will be one more round of games remaining. … The Raiders beat UIC 74-70 on the road last season and 69-63 at home. The Raiders have swept the season series three years in a row. … Darling banged his injured shoulder again toward the end of the Youngstown State game, but he said he would play tonight.

About Illinois-Chicago: The Flames trailed Milwaukee 42-25 at halftime Wednesday, but won the second half 35-8 and the game 60-50. Milwaukee’s eight-point performance was the worst single-half performance in Horizon League history. … The Flames led Valparaiso 62-61 with 2:34 to play on Jan. 9 but lost 75-70. UIC also led Green Bay with 4:38 to play, but lost 53-47.

Coach Billy Donlon on Illinois-Chicago: “They basically start four seniors. Daniel Barnes has been out, but I expect him to be back for our game. Humes is a fourth-year junior, so I consider him a senior when you look at his experience. They can really guard. They play man or zone. They played a lot of zone against Milwaukee in the second half, and that’s a big reason they won that game. Talton’s got good size. He can break you down one-one-one. He can make the 3. He can get an assist. Then they’ve got Crittle inside. They have good players. It’ll be a difficult game like every other game in the Horizon League.”
