Road to close, starting Friday, for overhead utility work

The Butler County Engineer’s Office will be closing a portion of West Alexandria Road for four days for overhead utility work.

West Alexandria Road will be closed between Michael Road and Ohio 122 on the following times and days:

• Today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (tentative)

• Monday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The following detour is suggested: westbound West Alexandria Road will detour west on Ohio 122 and north on Elk Creek Road to West Alexandria Road. Southeastbound traffic will reverse this route.
