Residents will have more options with new Middletown city website

The city of Middletown has unveiled its new, updated website.

City officials did a soft opening earlier in the week to work out any glitches and made the official announcement last week.

“We wanted to update the site to provide a more user-friendly experience for the community and visitors,” said Shelby Quinlivan, city communications coordinator.

She said the features of the new website include an online agenda center that allows citizens to sign-up for notifications and is a one-stop for publishing agendas; an alert center to notify citizens of outages, events, etc., and a form center to make locating forms easier.

“We plan on a new mobile app to be launched later this year as well,” Quinlivan said.

The city spent $25,875 for the new website that was developed by CivicPlus.
