The region’s largest franchisee of Panera Bread is in need of at least 500 new employees to fill a range of bakery-café positions from hourly associates to delivery drivers in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Ohio-based Covelli Enterprises wants to fill at least 200 hourly in-café associate positions at all of its 21 restaurants across the region.

In addition, at least 300 drivers are needed for when the Panera Delivery service launches in early September.

Panera is also hiring for a full crew to support its newest restaurant near Kroger off Kings Mills Road. That location is expected to open Oct. 17.

“It’s an exciting time to be a part of this brand in the Cincinnati market,” said Ken Sinsley, regional director of Operations for Covelli Enterprises/Panera Bread in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. “We’re rapidly expanding our reach in the Queen City with not only an increase demand for food as it should be, but the launch of Panera Delivery in just a few weeks, and the opening of a new bakery-café this fall.”
