But the owners of the bear say they sold that home 30 years ago and moved Little Bear to North Carolina.
“That was our house 30 years ago,” Donna Forsythe told the Journal-News. “All of our neighbors that we used to have are getting on Facebook and are so confused. We did have a bear at one time, but we moved to North Carolina 30 years ago.”
Farler told the Journal-News today his comments about the wrestling bear were based on what people have told him.
“I’ve never known the specifics, just they raised the bear there and heard tales of the wrestling. Well before my time,” he said.
