LOGAN, W.Va. — A convicted sex offender and fugitive from Ohio has been arrested in West Virginia.
The U.S. Marshals Service says John Walker was arrested around 1 a.m. Saturday at a home in Logan following a brief struggle.
Walker was wanted by Ohio authorities for violating parole after a sexual battery conviction and for failing to register as a sex offender. He may face additional sex offender registry charges in West Virginia.
