President Barack Obama cancelled a visit to Cincinnati for Wednesday due to continuing concern over Hurricane Sandy.

“The President will remain in Washington, DC on Wednesday to monitor the response to Hurricane Sandy and ensure that all available federal resources continue to be provided to support ongoing state and local recovery efforts. As a result, the President will not participate in the campaign events that had been scheduled in Ohio tomorrow,” said the White House in a press release.

The president was scheduled to speak at the Duke Energy Center.

The president has scheduled stops in Springfield on Thursday and around Ohio on Friday. There’s is no word on if he will still make those dates.

Republican candidate Mitt Romney will speak on Friday evening in West Chester Twp.
