Police reports: Tires stolen from car dealership

Two windows were broken out of a vehicle that was parked overnight in the 2600 block of Noble Avenue. Three extension cords, fish tape, a voice and data termination kit, a tool bucket with assorted electrical hand tools, a tool belt with assorted electrical hand tools, a right angle drill, and a multi-meter were stolen. The value of the stolen items was reported at more than $1,500.

A resident in the 1500 block of Somerton Court told police that between Nov. 27 and Dec. 7 someone acquired his Visa debit card account information and ran up charges of about $600.

A jewelry box containing various pieces of costume jewelry, 12 long swords, a tote box with eight short swords, two personal cell phones, two government-issued cell phones and a high school diploma were stolen between Dec. 1 and Dec. 8 from a storage unit in the 1000 block of South Erie Highway.

A burglary was reported between 12:30 and 2:30 a.m. at a residence in the 1200 block of Wallace Street. Two cell phones, a wallet containing personal identification and between $60 to $70, and a set of car keys were reported stolen. The victim’s vehicle that was parked in front of his home was also reported stolen.

A man who was at the rear of a residence between midnight and 12:15 a.m. in the 800 block of East Avenue told police he was attacked by some people and was robbed of his keys and wallet containing several credit cards and $600.

A man was arrested after removing some tires from Fiehrer Motors Inc., 2531 Dixie Highway between Nov. 30 and Dec. 8. The man reportedly entered the business, removed a set of tires then placed the tires inside of his truck. The man then drove off toward Fairfield where police there stopped him. Two tires were recovered but a set of four tires were still missing.
