Police reports: Pizza sign stolen

Nov. 8

A vehicle break-in was reported to have occurred overnight in the 600 block of Ludlow Street. A DVD player, a television, a cell phone charger and a cell phone were stolen from the vehicle.

Nov. 9

A rock or brick was used to smash a window of a car that was parked between 11 p.m. Nov. 7 and 9 p.m. Nov. 8 in the 800 block of Shuler Avenue. About $7 in change, some duct tape, aluminum wrap and some potato chips were stolen.

Between Nov. 5 and Nov. 9 someone gained access to account information of a debit card that belonged to a resident in the 800 block of Gordon Smith Boulevard. A magazine and skin care products were purchased with the debit card.

Two people pulled a gun on a person and robbed him of $100 as he was walking home about 7:40 p.m. in the 200 block of Hanover Street.

About $400 and a computer monitor were stolen during a burglary between 4 and 6 p.m. from a residence in the 200 block of Wayne Avenue.

Nov. 10

An assault was reported about 9:15 p.m. in the 600 block of Heaton Street.

A police officer was assaulted while breaking up a fight about 2:09 a.m. in the 500 block of Ludlow Street. As that suspect was being processed in the booking room at Hamilton Police Headquarters, the same officer was assaulted again. During the large altercation on Ludlow Street, another person was stabbed in the right shoulder from behind but that suspect fled the scene.

An assault was reported between 5:15 and 5:40 p.m. in the 100 block of Knapp Drive.

The passenger side window of a car was broken while it was parked between 3 and 5 a.m. in the 1000 block of Stewart Street. A purse, a cell phone and $60 were stolen.

A television and about 100 DVDs were stolen about 1 p.m. from a residence in the 900 block of Shuler Avenue.

A 42-inch television was stolen between 11 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. from a residence in the 1000 block of Edison Avenue. The two driver’s side tires were cut on a van that was parked at the residence.

A person reportedly climbed over a fence about 2:42 pm., went through the back yard and attempted to open the back door of a residence in the 400 block of North Washington Boulevard. The suspect fled when he saw the residents were home.

Prescription medication was stolen from a shopping cart about 3:50 p.m. from the Walmart store, 1505 Main St.

A gas/charcoal dual grill, a weed cutter, a lawn mower and a pressure washer were stolen between Nov. 7 and Nov. 10 from a residence in the 800 block of Quincy Drive.

An assault was reported about 10:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of Main Street.

An asthma inhaler, a digital camera and $20 were stolen between 8:30 and 11 p.m. from a vehicle that was parked at Minor and Vanhook avenues.

A Dominos Pizza sign was stolen between 2 and 2:30 a.m. from a vehicle that was parked in the 900 block of Gordon Smith Boulevard. The vehicle was also found to have been egged and toilet papered.
