Nov. 28
Several pieces of jewelry and a jacket were stolen from a vehicle that was parked between Nov. 26 and Nov. 28 in the 900 block of Weller Avenue. The total amount of the loss was reported at $3,100.
An assault was reported about 9:30 p.m. in the 700 block of High Street.
Nov. 29
A burglary was reported between 6:45 and 7:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Hastings Avenue. The resident said upon returning home, she discovered that things had been moved and looked through.
Nov. 30
A property owner checking on a vacant house found a person inside without permission about 1:25 p.m. in the 300 block of Sycamore Street. Police searched the house and located the person inside who was arrested for criminal trespass.
An attempted burglary was reported to have occurred between Nov. 13 and Nov. 22 in the 200 block of Wayne Avenue.
A juvenile was arrested about 3:30 p.m. for walking on the CSX Railroad tracks near the 1000 block of Eaton Avenue. The juvenile left his bookbag on the tracks.
A can of paint thinner was used to break a window about 3 p.m. at a residence in the 400 block of Central Avenue.
A resident in the 0 to 100 block of Wellington Court said that Western Union took $1,016 out of his bank account between Nov. 24 and Nov. 28 without his authorization.
The rear back window of a vehicle was broken while it was parked overnight in the 3100 block of Griesmer Avenue. A briefcase was stolen but the victim recovered it in a neighbor’s yard with the contents intact.
Someone entered a vehicle that was parked overnight in the 400 block of Ashley Brook Drive. Some items were displaced but nothing was reported missing.
Prescription medication was stolen about 6 p.m. from a person in the 1300 block of Pater Avenue.
A person was arrested after taking 12 pairs of shoes and leaving without paying for them about 6:46 p.m. at the Meijer store, 1560 Main St.
A resident in the 1300 block of Carriage Hill Lane reported that on Nov. 29, someone used his bank account information to make $267 in online transactions without his permission.
The rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle that was parked overnight in the 0 to 100 block of Maple Court.
Someone called a resident in the 1100 block of Western Avenue to obtain her personal information about 7:30 p.m. Nov. 29. The resident was unsure if the person was able to gain access to her bank account but said she would contact her bank to monitor her account.
Someone smashed the windshield of a vehicle while it was parked overnight in the 2700 block of Andrew Avenue.
A resident in the 0 to 100 block of Random Court told police that she had lost a credit card between Oct. 26 and Oct. 29 and that someone had found it and made $3,000 in purchases.
Someone entered the backyard of a residence sometime overnight in the 400 block of North D Street and stole three aluminum ladders, two metal brakes, two saw horses, two 50-inch rolls of aluminum coil and a bicycle.
The rear passenger window of a vehicle was damaged while it was parked overnight in the 400 block of Clinton Avenue. Two DVD players and an iPod were stolen from the vehicle.
Someone smashed the windshield of a vehicle while it was parked overnight in the 400 block of Corwin Avenue.
An aluminum gutter was vandalized and an aluminum downspout was stolen overnight from a building owned by the Miami Conservancy District, 50 Wayne Ave.
A window of a vehicle was broken before 7:50 a.m. in the 0 to 100 block of Picadilly Drive. A briefcase, two checkbooks, a passport and Social Security paperwork, medical information papers and paid/unpaid bills were reported stolen.
