Police reports: Nails found underneath vehicle’s tires

Jan. 15

A table saw and a miscellaneous tools were stolen before 9:30 p.m. from a garage in the 100 block of Progress Avenue.

Jan. 16

Nails were found under a tire of vehicle that was parked between Jan. 14 and Jan. 16 in the 2700 block of Andrew Avenue.

Furniture — including a couch, five end tables, two 32-inch televisions, two twin beds, a dining room set, a chest of drawers, four lamps, a toy playhouse, a love seat, a television stand, a dresser with a mirror, a toaster and a coffee pot — were stolen between Jan. 11 and Jan. 16 from a residence in the 400 block of Hooven Avenue. The value of the stolen property was listed at $6,000.

A woman reportedly used a knife to threaten a person at a residence about 2 p.m. in the 300 block of North 10th Street.

A person used a lower apartment air-conditioning unit to climb onto a balcony to burglarize an apartment and steal a 55-inch television and a 32-inch television between 6:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the 1000 block of St. Clair Avenue.

Two unknown suspects were reportedly shooting at each other about 4:51 p.m. in the 600 block of South Front Street. After searching the area, police found a bullet hole in the rear passenger side of a van that is owned by the city of Hamilton.

A class ring and a GPS device were stolen between Jan. 12 and Jan. 16 from a vehicle that was parked between Jan. 12 and Jan. 16 in the 200 block of Thomas Boulevard.

A pregnant woman said someone threatened to beat her about 7 p.m. in the 700 block of East Avenue. She was advised to sign a warrant through Hamilton Municipal Court.

An assault was reported about 6 p.m. in the 900 block of Vine Street.

Two tires were slashed on a car that was parked between 7 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Eaton Avenue.
