Police reports: Man steals $100 worth of beef jerky

Feb. 18
The rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle that was parked between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. in the 600 block of Ross Avenue.
Feb. 21
A man was seen stealing more than $100 in various types of beef jerky about 2:20 p.m. at the United Dairy Farmers, 11 Brookwood Ave.
An assault was reported about 8:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Main Street.
Feb. 22
A person was arrested after trying to steal a bottle of alcohol between 5:30 and 6 p.m. from Noonan’s Party Store, 1350 Main St.
Copper pipe, an electrical box, a hot water heater and a heating/air conditioning unit were stolen before 11:31 a.m. from a residence in the 100 block of Gordon Avenue. The value of the stolen items were listed at more than $16,000.
Between 1:30 and 2:45 p.m. someone burglarized a residence in the 1500 block of Colony Terrace and stole a 42-inch television, a 22-inch television, an iPod, various pieces of jewelry, a PlayStation 3 game system with games and an Afghan.
Two .25 caliber handguns, a VCR/DVD player, miscellaneous compact discs, two cell phones, an iPod, a staple gun and a set of knifes were stolen between Feb. 20 and Feb. 22 during a burglary in the 1200 block of Vanderveer Avenue.
Several pairs of shoes and some pants were stolen Feb. 20 from a residence in the 1200 block of Wallace Avenue.
A credit card, $170 and a prescription for medication were stolen between 6 p.m. Feb. 21 and 5 p.m. Feb. 22 from a residence in the 200 block of Rockford Drive. The credit card was used to make a transaction for $89.99.
A person who tried to leave the Walmart store, 1505 Main St. about 6:25 p.m. with more than $140 in groceries without paying managed to flee security officers.
An assault was reported about 7:55 p.m. at the Circle K, 2166 Pleasant Ave.
Between Feb. 7 and Feb. 22, someone entered a window to an apartment in the 1000 block of South Second Street and stole 20 DVDs, a pair of gym shoes, and a DVD player.
A Rumpke recycling bin was stolen overnight Feb. 21 from a residence in the 1600 block of Pleasant Avenue.
Feb. 23
Between Feb. 9 and Feb. 23, someone stole personal identification and a food stamp debit card from a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Beth Lane.
Someone shattered a glass window about 10:40 p.m. at a residence in the 700 block of Ludlow Street.
A bicycle was stolen between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Knightsbridge Drive.
A tool valued at $2,500, a personal checkbook and a stereo faceplate was stolen from a vehicle while it was parked overnight in the 1000 block of Summer Street.
A .38-caliber handgun was stolen between Jan. 1 and Feb. 18 from a residence in the 200 block of Hudson Avenue.
An assault was reported about 11:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Gordon Smith Boulevard.
Someone damaged a 2.5-ton air conditioning unit and took the compressors from the unit sometime overnight in the 300 block of South B Street. Damages were listed at $7,000.
An assault was reported about 9:45 p.m. in the 1000 block of Harmon Avenue.
A turkey fryer, a propane heater, three Samauri swords, a chain saw, an air compressor were stolen from a vacant residence before 2:30 p.m. from a vacant residence in the 0 to 100 of Convair Drive. The front entry door was also damaged. The damages to the door was listed at $200.
Between 2:30 and 3 p.m. in the 2800 block of Dixie Highway, a woman who was test driving a car forgot her wallet and when she went back to retrieve it, the wallet containing $1,700 was gone.
Someone entered a vehicle between Feb. 21 and Feb. 23 while it was parked in the 800 block of Martin Avenue, reported someone broke the lid off the console and stole a gold-plated watch, a sweater, shirt and blanket.
A wallet containing $37 was stolen about 12:41 p.m. at Hamilton High School, 1165 Eaton Ave. The suspect was seen on a school security camera picking the wallet off of the floor and walking away with it in his hand.
A woman was robbed of an undetermined amount of cash about 4:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of St. Clair Avenue.
Someone made an unauthorized purchase for $18.15 on a check card between Feb. 13 and Feb. 23 in the 800 block of Greenwood Avenue.
A cell phone charger, a hooded sweatshirt, and $10 were stolen before 5 a.m. from a residence in the 2600 block of River Road.
Five rings, each valued at $2,000, as well as prescription medication were stolen between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. from an apartment in the 0 to 100 block of South Monument Street.
