Police reports: Man robbed while walking dog

Dec. 28

A pack of Newport cigarettes and $20 were stolen from an apartment in the 400 block of Eaton Avenue.

A storage unit being rented by a Fairfield woman was broken into at About Space, 1030 S. Erie Blvd., and a lava lamp and Tinker Bell comforter set were stolen.

Dec. 29

A Hamilton police officer was kicked several times by a suspect inside her police cruiser on Franklin Street. The suspect also bit the officer through her jacket and shirt during the booking process.

A handful of Percocet pills were taken from an apartment in the 500 block of South B Street.

A gold ring, gold chain and eight Gatorade bottles full of change were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Eden Park Drive.

Dec. 30

A home was burglarized in the 1000 block of St. Clair Avenue and the suspect removed 38 Suboxone pills and 60 Klonopin pills.

A Cincinnati man reported an air conditioning unit was removed from his rental property in the 600 block of Glenway Avenue.

A home was spray-painted in the 400 block of Miami Street.

A 41-year-old man was robbed of his wallet while walking his dog on Hampshire Drive.

Dec. 31

An armed robbery at Hamilton Smoke and Beverage, 946 High Street, resulted in the loss of $140 cash from the register.

A 43-year-old man reported he was stabbed in the left arm during a fight in the zero to 50 block of Dick Avenue.

Someone struck a 36-year-old man in the head with a can in the 500 block of North Third Street.

An employee of UHR Rents, 2360 Dixie Hwy., reported two separate customers failed to make payments after renting a 50-inch plasma TV and Xbox 360.

About 150 feet of copper piping was removed from a vacant rental property in the 300 block of North C Street.

About $400 in fraudulent charges were made on the credit card of a woman living on Olympus Drive.

Jan. 1

More than $200 in fraudulent charges were made to the credit card of a 26-year-old woman living on Minor Avenue.

After a verbal altercation with two suspects, a 31-year-old woman said she was punched in the face and knocked to the ground in the 800 block of High Street. The woman’s vehicle was also dented by the suspects.

A camera was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Clinton Avenue.

Nearly $400 worth of electronics were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Harrison Avenue. The male owner of the car said a Kindle Fire and notebook computer were among the items taken.

A designer Coach purse and Apple iPhone were among items stolen from a car parked in the 700 block of Coralie Street.

About $700 worth of tools were removed from a garage in the 400 block of Sherman Avenue.

A Middletown woman reported the window of her Chevy Suburban was broken out while parked near 12th Street and Grand Boulevard.

A 22-year-old man sustained a bloody nose during a fight at Roundhouse Bar, 812 East Ave.
