Dec. 22

A 23-year-old woman reported $150 cash was stolen from her vehicle while parked in the 300 block of Hampshire Drive. Her rear driver’s side window was smashed out, and her purse and wallet removed. At the same time, a 26-year-old man reported his car window was also smashed and a GPS unit valued at $200 removed from his car parked in the 300 block of Hampshire Drive.

Dec. 23

More than $450 in fraudulent charges were made on the debit card belonging to a 50-year-old woman from Fairfield. She reported a man known to her had stolen the check card after she gave him a ride. The card was used at Swifty’s Drive Thru and Walmart.

Four pairs of designer sunglasses worth $500 were stolen from the vehicle of a 27-year-old woman while parked in the 1000 block of Cornell Avenue. The female said the suspect also stole a silver bracelet.

A home was burglarized in the 1000 block of Shuler Avenue, and an MP3 player and speakers taken from the residence.

Somebody threatened to shoot a 38-year-old man living in the 500 block of Vine Street.

A 33-year-old woman said a man pulled her hair after she declined to start dating him.

Two Christmas wreaths were set on fire outside Kingdom Ministries House of Prayer, 128 N. Second St.

Profanities were spray-painted onto a garage in the 3000 block of Griesmere Avenue, as reported by the 68-year-old homeowner.

Three suspects attempted to steal an extension ladder from a Chevrolet truck parked in the 100 block of Starr Avenue. A witness confronted the suspects, who replaced the property and left.

Dec. 24

A 22-year-old woman said she was punched once in the chest and twice in the back during an argument in the 300 block of South Front Street.

A laptop computer was stolen from a home in the zero to 50 block of Kirk Avenue, as reported by the 41-year-old homeowner.

A Nikon camera and $40 cash were taken from the car of a 20-year-old woman while parked at 533 Puthoff Street.

A home was burglarized in the 900 block of Millikin Street and about $4,500 worth of jewelry was stolen, as reported by the 67-year-old homeowner.

Dec. 25

Somebody threatened to kill a 41-year-old man living in the 900 block of Greenwood Avenue. The subject also threatened to kill his dogs.

A man was stabbed in the leg during a verbal argument at an apartment in the 1000 block of Shuler Avenue. The 38-year-old man was treated at Fort Hamilton Hospital.

Two cars parked in the 400 block of Ridgelawn Avenue had their windows broken out, but no items stolen.

An employee of Meijer, 1560 Main St., was fired after security cameras recorded her stealing $1,200 from the cash register she was working.

Dec. 26

About $670 worth of gaming systems and video games were stolen from an apartment in the 300 block of Ross Avenue.
