Prescription medication was stolen between Jan. 4 and Jan. 10 from a residence in the 700 block of Ludlow Street.

Jan. 11

A resident in the 100 block of Smalley Boulevard told police he loaned his vehicle to a person to run to the store about 5 p.m. Jan. 8 and the vehicle had not been returned yet.

A person in the 800 block of Ross Avenue was told about 11 a.m. that the caller was going to go to the school in the 1100 block of Eaton Avenue and shoot her.

Representatives of Baker & Associates, 188 N. Brookwood Ave., told police Jan. 11 that between Nov. 5 and Nov. 9, someone forged a check for $14,237.

A brick was tossed through a window between 8 and 10 p.m. Jan. 10 in the 300 block of Hudson Avenue.

A fraudulent $100 bill was used to purchase gasoline about 1:41 p.m. at the Marathon gas station, 2693 Dixie Highway.

A wallet containing a food stamp card, a debit card, an insurance card and a Social Security card was stolen about 1:45 p.m. Jan. 10 from the 800 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Miscellaneous car parts were stolen during an overnight break-in of a garage in the 1300 block of Shuler Avenue.

Someone threw a rock through the door glass about 5 p.m. at a residence in the 400 block of Williams Avenue.

A front window and a wall picture were damaged between 3 and 4 a.m. after someone fired three shots into a residence in the 100 block of Washington Street. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.

Prescription medication was stolen between 5 and 5:30 p.m. from a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Beth Lane.

A front and rear window were broken between 3 and 7 p.m. during a burglary in the 400 block of Hudson Avenue.

Three televisions, a window, a bathroom mirror and sink were damaged and an Xbox 360 game system were stolen between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. from a residence in the 500 block of Fitton Avenue.

Four checks written between Nov. 9-23 by one person were returned to Savage Auto Parts, 630 Maple Ave. The total value of the checks was reported at about $630 and the business reported the matter to police on Jan. 11.

An assault was reported about 5 a.m. in the 900 block of Clinton Avenue.

A computer was stolen between Dec. 20 and Jan. 8 from a residence in the 100 block of Elvin Avenue.

Jan. 12

Someone threw a stone to break the front passenger window of a vehicle that was parked about 2:45 a.m. in the 1300 block of Alexander Drive. A holster and an empty nylon briefcase were stolen from the vehicle before the suspect fled as the vehicle alarm went off.

A resident in the 1100 block of Parrish Avenuewho loaned their car to another person to run errands about 8 a.m. Dec. 1 has refused to return the vehicle back to its owner on Jan. 12.

Keys and a vehicle were stolen between 12:01 and 2:30 a.m. from the 900 block of Noyes Avenue.

A report of people not paying a $90.18 taxi fare between 6 and 7 a.m. that was owed to All Around Taxi, 225 East Ave.

An assault was reported about 7:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Howell Avenue.

Prescription medication was stolen between Jan. 9 and Jan. 11 while the victim was in the emergency room at Fort Hamilton Hospital, 630 Eaton Ave.

A credit card was stolen from an unlocked vehicle that was parked overnight in a driveway in the 0 to 100 block of Woodbury Court.

A portable welder, a table saw, two drills, an impact tool, a mitre saw and a spool of red wire were taken between noon Jan. 11 and noon Jan. 12 from a garage in the 300 block of South C Street.

Prescription medication was stolen between 5 and 6 p.m. from a residence in the 400 block of Harrison Avenue.
