The lock on shed doors was pried off during an overnight break-in in the 1600 block of See Avenue. A second shed was broken-in to in the same block where miscellaneous hand tools were stolen.
A Butler County Prosecutor’s Office badge, a number of children’s compact discs and $5 were stolen during an overnight break-in of a vehicle parked in the 300 block of South Eastview Parkway. The compact discs were later found in the front yard of a neighbor’s house, but the badge was pried out of its badge holder.
A motorized children’s vehicle was stolen overnight from the back yard carport in the 100 block of Vista Drive.
Various jewelry, 20 fishing reels, an antique rifle, about 75 packets of various fishing tackle were stolen overnight from Mr. Money Savers, 1990 S. Erie Blvd.
A radar detector, miscellaneous hand tools, and about six compact discs were stolen overnight from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the 1000 block of Laurel Avenue. A 100-year-old Bible was taken from the vehicle and was torn apart near the vehicle.
A stereo faceplate, a pair of vice grips and an orbital sander were stolen from a vehicle while it was parked overnight in the 1000 block of Corwin Avenue.
Items were stolen from two Jeeps that were also damaged overnight while they were parked in the 200 block of Hastings Avenue. According to the report, the damages and stolen items were estimated at $4,300.
A motorcyle was damaged overnight while it was parked in the garage of a residence in the 800 block of Carlisle Avenue.
A 4 by 6 foot metal awning and four wood posts were stolen overnight in the 300 block of Wayne Avenue.
A ceramic pumpkin was shattered about 7:30 p.m. at a residence in the 600 block of Sanders Drive.
After a resident returned home after taking her children out trick or treating between 6 and 8 p.m., she found the back door had been pried open at her residence in the 1600 block of Edison Avenue. Two 50-inch flatscreen televisions, copper plumbing, prescription medication and an Xbox game system were reported stolen.
A car door was scratched and dented and a side view mirrow was cracked after someone threw a brick at a vehicle parked overnight in the 300 block of Williams Avenue.
Nov. 1
GPS devices were stolen betweem 11 p.m. Oct. 31 and 2:30 a.m. Nov. 1 from four vehicles that were parked in the 300 block of Rose Avenue, the 900 block of Weller Avenue, the 1130 block of Allen Avenue, and the 100 block of Brough Avenue. Some juvenile suspects were arrested by police after being found walking down the alley in the 800 block of Weller Avenue with the stolen property.
