Police report: Four-ton jack stolen

Oct. 13

Two windows were broken during a break-in between 11:15 and 11:42 p.m. at the Masonic Temple, 724 High St.

A number of flowers were pulled out of the ground and other flowers appeared to have been stomped on sometime between 8 and 9 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Second Street.

Oct. 14

An electronic table and some cigarettes were stolen during an overnight break-in of a residence in the 200 block of Rhea Ave.

About $970 was stolen overnight from a residence in the 800 block of Ross Avenue.

An assault was reported about 2 p.m. from the 0 to 100 block of Bryant Lane.

A four-ton jack was stolen overnight from a back yard in the 1300 block of Summer Street.

An assault was reported about 9:15 p.m. in the 200 block of Main Street.

An assault was reported about 10:15 p.m. near Sycamore and South Sixth streets.

Someone threw a large glass bottle at the front windshield of a vehicle parked about 10:10 p.m. in the 500 block of South Monument Avenue. The owner said the windshield had multiple large cracks as a result of the incident.

A person was robbed of his wallet after he dropped it after getting out of his car about 4:10 p.m. in the 2200 Grand Blvd.

Four new tires and a new vehicle battery were stolen between Feb. 28 and Oct. 14 from the 800 block of Franklin Street.

The passenger window of a truck owned by Duke Energy was broken while it was parked between 4:30 p.m. Oct. 13 and 3 p.m. Oct. 14 in the 200 block of Linden Street.

A resident found the side door of his residence was standing open and that his home was burglarized between 5 and 6:45 p.m. in the 1800 block of Dixie Highway. A watch and a 42-inch flat screen television with a 3D BluRay player combo was stolen.

An assault was reported about 10:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Edison Avenue.
