Police blotter: Items reported stolen from cars

Sept. 27

A credit card was stolen between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m. Sept. 25 from a residence in the 400 block of South Second Street and was used to make more than $400 in transactions.

An iPhone and about $10 was stolen during an overnight break-in of a vehicle that was parked in the 1100 block of Dale Road.

A notebook with personal information, a bag of miscellaneous hand tools, a pair of sunglasses and a digital camera were stolen when a vehicle was repossessed while it was parked between 8:30 and 9 p.m. in the 1100 block of Shuler Avenue. The person who repossessed the vehicle has refused to return those items to the owner.

Three pairs of sunglasses and a miscellaneous amount of loose change were taken about 12:33 a.m. from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the 200 block of North Sixth Street.

An assault was reported about 7 p.m. in the 300 block of Hampshire Drive.

Sept. 28

A bicycle that was chained was stolen about 10:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Brough Avenue.

An assault was reported about 2:40 a.m. in the 2200 block of Freeman Avenue.

Two people reported being assaulted about 3:40 a.m. in the 400 block of North D Street.

About $150 and some prescription medication were stolen between 2 and 4 a.m. from a residence in the 500 block of Williams Avenue.
