Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Oxford

OXFORD —

A pedestrian was transported by medical helicopter to a Cincinnati hospital after being struck by a vehicle Friday.

The unidentified man was struck by a vehicle that was backing up near the intersection of Oak and Spring streets in Oxford, said a spokesman for the Oxford Fire Department.

The man was taken by medical helicopter to the University of Cincinnati hospital to be evaluated for a head injury. The injury did not appear to be life-threatening, according to a spokesman for the hospital.
