‘Only a few pages’

Years ago, the Hamilton JournalNews had a slogan — “The Hamilton JournalNews, your #1 news source.” When I read the Hamilton JournalNews today, I see only a few pages of local news, not a whole section of local news.

Why is the Cincinnati Enquirer beating the Hamilton JournalNews on the news? How come the Hamilton JournalNews reporters don’t run in-depth breaking news on a regular basis? You report the local news on a daily basis, yet you lack breaking news. Is local news getting harder to find? Or is newsprint getting the blame?

I know finding the news is a job, yet it seems local news articles are getting fewer than a few decades ago.
