There are a host of activities to do and see at Middfest, so here are some of the things being celebrated all weekend:
6 p.m. Friday: Middfest opening ceremonies, which will feature Middletown resident Bill Wilch being recognized for receiving the French Legion of Honor for his involvement in the country during World War II.
One Donham Plaza: Inside and outside the city building, there will be demonstrations and speakers throughout the weekend. There will also be displays and films shown inside the city building.
Former senior citizens building: A focus on religion in France will be featured, including stained glass from the Moormans, owners of BeauVerre Riordan.
Cincinnati State: To help celebrate Middfest, Cincinnati State Middletown will offer “A Conversational French Lesson for Beginners” from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday in the lobby of the downtown campus at 1 N. Main St. The lesson is free, but people need to RSVP by calling (513) 240-3690.
