More than $8,000 in jewelry was reported stolen from the bedroom of a 46-year-old woman living in the 1000 block of Millville Avenue.
The owner of Walt’s BBQ, 1242 Main St., reported two neon beer signs worth $800 were stolen from the restaurant.
A 63-year-old woman living in the 200 block of Progress Avenue reported $2,200 was taken from her bank account between June 18 and June 27.
June 29
A 70-year-old man reported 17 harmonicas and a Bible were stolen from his car in the 100 block of Winston Drive.
July 3
A hot tub jacuzzi cover worth $600 was stolen from the backyard of a residence in the 600 block of New London Road.
More than $7,000 in jewelry and tools was removed from a car parked in the 700 block of Franklin Street.
July 4
A car belonging to a 73-year-old woman was broken into in the 800 block of Elizabeth Drive and 10 books and three CDs were stolen.
A .17-caliber rifle worth $550 was stolen from the home of a 19-year-old man in the 100 block of Mavern Avenue.
Nearly $3,000 worth of electronics including a laptop computer, hard drive, two GPS devices and an iPad Touch were stolen from a car parked in the 800 block of Elizabeth Drive.
July 5
A divorce case file and a tan leather bag was taken overnight July 4 from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the 800 block of Elizabeth Drive.
A handgun was fired into an apartment in the 0 to 100 block of Stephens Street. An interior wall and two windows were damaged.
A car parked in the 300 block of Cleveland Avenue was vandalized between 3 and 8:30 a.m. July 4. The damage, which was reported at $1,900, included the windshield, front passenger side window, the driver and passenger side mirrors and a dent in the driver side door.
The driver side window of a pickup truck was damaged overnight while it was parked in the 500 block of Monument Avenue.
About $1,400 was taken between July 3 and July 5 from a residence in the 0 to 100 block of South Monument Avenue.
A cash register was taken overnight during a break-in in the 2000 block of Pleasant Avenue.
A Jeep Cherokee was broken into sometime overnight in the 1100 block of Azel Avenue. A stereo system was taken from the vehicle.
Three cement chickens, a cement goose and two chain link gates were taken overnight from a residence in the 1000 block of Vine Street.
A pair of steering wheels and a carburetor were taken and the garage door and roof were damaged during an overnight break-in at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 2650 Dixie Highway.
July 6
An assault was reported about 4:05 a.m. in the 900 block of Sycamore Street.
An assault was reported about 2:45 a.m. 2800 block of Pleasant Avenue.
A felonious assault was reported about 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Seventh and Dayton streets.
A person allegedly used bodily force to bust a door down to enter an apartment about 1:30 a.m. in the 0 to 100 block of Summit Ridge Court.
