WEST CHESTER TWP. — Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs has opened its first franchise location on Allen Road in West Chester Twp.

The new restaurant, scheduled to open at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at 9216 Allen Road, according to The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty, will donate 20 percent of its first week's sales to the foundation.

“I’m proud of the quality that comes with the Goodcents name also of being able to support our local community as a franchise owner. Goodcents offers freshly-baked breads and ingredients, sliced-to-order meats and healthy food options, which set it apart and above any other sub and salad concept in town. We hope the demand for our opening week will translate into a nice donation for The Community Foundation. I can’t think of a better cause,” said Dave Scholten, owner-operator of Goodcents.

Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs empowers and encourages its owner/operators to get involved in their local communities, foundation officials said.

Scholten, who has more than 20 years experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, said he chose to donate the first week’s sales proceeds to the foundation because of the organization’s reach among members and its community impact.

Like other franchise locations, the West Chester Twp. Goodcents will feature a drive-through and online ordering.
