Feb. 13
A woman told police that she passed out between midnight and 12:30 a.m. Feb. 2 at the Village Inn, 447 N. Second St., and had her cell phone and $28 stolen. She filed the theft report on Feb. 13.
Two knives, 12 unknown video games and $60 were stolen between 3 and 4 p.m. during a burglary in the 400 block of South 11th Street.
Prescription medication was stolen between 8 and 9:30 p.m. Feb. 12 from a residence in the 500 block of Ross Avenue.
Someone put a small hole into the front window of a residence between noon and 7 p.m. in the 0 to 100 block of Twinbrook Drive.
Someone sliced a tire on a vehicle between 10:15 and 10:36 p.m. while it was parked in the 1000 block of Campbell Avenue.
A Christmas wreath and jewelry were stolen between Feb. 9 and Feb. 10 from a residence in the 900 block of South Second Street.
More than $2,300 in power tools, tires, rims and a tablet were stolen during a break-in of a garage that occurred before 1:20 p.m. in the 700 block of East Avenue. Two of the stolen power tools were recovered.
A resident in the 1200 block of Vine Street contacted the Internal Revenue Service to find out why his tax refund was so low and learned someone used his personal information to file a tax return between Feb. 9 and Feb. 13.
Someone stole a prescription between Jan. 25 and Feb. 6 from her residence in the 500 block of Valleyview Drive and had it filled without her permission.
An assault was reported between 2 and 2:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of Harmon Avenue.
About 2:40 a.m., a person removed cash from a wallet owned by a resident in the 1000 block of North B Street. After confronting the suspect, the victim had recovered a portion of the cash but the suspect ran off with $1,220.
A vehicle was reported stolen about 5:30 a.m. while it was parked in the 800 block of Ludlow Street. The doors were unlocked and the keys were in the ignition. The vehicle’s title and registration as well as the owner’s birth certificate were also in the vehicle.
An assault was reported about 7:49 a.m. in the 3100 block of Benninghofen Avenue.
Someone stripped the ignition to steal an unlocked U-haul truck while it was parked between 12:05 and 12:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Shuler Avenue. The truck contained a leather chair, pictures, compact discs, DVDs, clothes and nursery furniture.
A person used a credit card number on Jan. 16 to pay $729.43 for work done on a vehicle at Jeff Pohlman Tire, 303 S. Second St. A couple of weeks later, the charge was declined by the bank because of a fraudulent use. The report was filed with police on Feb. 13.
Candy, condoms and liquid soap were stolen about 9:15 p.m. from the Walgreens, 1090 High St. The suspect took the property and fled from the store on foot.
A woman stole a cell phone between 6 and 9 p.m. after a resident in the 1700 block of See Avenue allowed her to use it.
Feb. 14
Someone spray painted an expletive on the driver’s side of a vehicle that was parked overnight in the 200 block of North D Street.
A person who was following and yelling at the victim and threatening her life also reportedly pointed a gun at her about 12:35 p.m. in the 3100 block of Dixie Highway.
A Fairfield woman told police that between Oct. 29 and Feb. 11, a person forged five checks for a total of $6,000 at a bank in the 1100 block of N.W. Washington Boulevard.
Between Feb. 10 and Feb. 14, the owner of a trailer who parked it at his church in the 1700 block of Millville Avenue told police that it had been stolen.
A cell phone that was delivered by FedEx was stolen between 1:30 and 3 p.m. from the front door of a residence in the 1000 block of Carlisle Avenue.
Between 9 and 11 p.m., a woman found her back door was kicked in and a tablet and a laptop computer were stolen during a burglary of her residence in the 1100 block of Ross Avenue while she was out.
The central air conditioning unit was stolen overnight from True Alternatives Dry Cleaning, 111 Main St. The unit was valued at $3,000.
Feb. 15
A person told police he had been stabbed in the right forearm during an altercation between 1:30 and 2 a.m. near Harmon and Howell avenues. The suspect fled the scene.
An assault was reported between 6 and 6:30 p.m. at an unknown block of North Third Street.
An assault was reported about 2:20 a.m. in the 600 block of Clinton Avenue.
