MIDDLETOWN —
Multiple fire crews responded to a fully-involved garage fire at a local church.
Around 1:50 p.m. Saturday, witnesses reported hearing a loud explosion before a garage at the rear of First Church of Nazarene, 215 S. Sutphin St., became engulfed in flames, according to emergency dispatchers in Middletown.
Crews encountered heavy smoke and flames upon arrival. Duke Energy was also responding to the blaze.
