MADISON TWP., Butler Co. —

Flames overtook a home on Radabaugh Road early Monday morning, causing extensive damage to the inside of the home, according to reports.

Firefighters were called to the home in the 3100 block of Radabaugh just before 4 a.m. on reports of a structure fire.

Additional departments were dispatched to the scene for mutual aid as flames were showing upon firefighters arrival, according to reports. Crews from Madison Twp., Trenton, Monroe and St. Clair Twp. assisted in the fire fight.

Firefighters said two adults and a child were living at the home and were able to make it out safely.

The American Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the family, according to firefighters.

Firefighters believe the fire started in the kitchen area, and they said the home was a total loss.

An investigator was also called to the scene.
