Police say that a fire in Fairfield was the result of an arson, and the suspect is due to appear in court today.
Randi Hoskins, of the 5874 block of Morningside Drive, has been charged with aggravated arson. She is one of the homeowners at that residence, which burned at 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 3 and was a total loss, said Fairfield police officer Doug Day.
There were no injuries from the fire, but Fairfield fire investigators determined the fire was intentionally set and contacted the Fairfield police department. Hoskins is scheduled to be be arraigned in the Fairfield Municipal Court at 1 p.m. today. She is being held at the Butler County Jail.
