July 8
An assault was reported about 5:10 p.m. in the 800 block of Franklin Street.
More than $1,200 in computer games, a computer tablet and headphones were taken overnight from a vehicle parked in the 0 to 100 block of Wellington Court.
Someone punched out the window of a car parked in the 800 block of Franklin Street about 5:10 p.m.
Someone scratched a small line down the driver’s side of a pickup truck that was parked overnight in the 0 to 100 block of Brookwood Drive.
A Craig Drive woman said someone used her credit card to obtain $1,910 while she was in a nursing home for two months.
A laptop computer, a television, a digital camera and a wedding ring were taken between July 1 and July 8 from a residence in the 1300 block of Southern Hills Boulevard.
A license plate was taken from a vehicle while it was parked overnight near Fairview and Pleasant avenues.
A rifle, a shotgun, a television, a camera, a printer and gold earrings were taken overnight from a residence in the 1000 block of Goodman Avenue.
July 10
An xBox adapter, five games, miscellaneous tools and $60 were taken during a burglary that occurred between 3 p.m. July 6 and 11:59 p.m. July 7.
A person entered the Walmart store, 1505 Main St. about 7:10 p.m. July 9 and unscrewed a glass case to take three radios, an amplifier and two DVD recorders. The loss was reported at more than $800.
July 11
An assault was reported about 6:10 a.m. in the 800 block of Ross Avenue.
The roof of the garage at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 3064 Pleasant Ave., was damaged overnight.
Tools were taken during an overnight break-in at InnovaCycle, 2130 Tuley Road.
A catalytic converter and a battery were taken from a car that was parked in the 2300 block of Dixie Highway between March 13 and July 11.
The rear driver’s side window of a car was broken about 12:25 p.m. while it was parked in the 200 block of Smalley Boulevard.
About $3,300 in computers and game systems along with a DVD player and a camera were taken between noon and 12:30 p.m. during a burglary in the 400 block of C Street.
A resident in the 0 to 15 block of Booth Avenue told police that someone keeps knocking down his privacy fence, spraying poison on his flowers and tossing trash into his back yard. This has been going on since March.
