Someone used a beer bottle to break the driver’s-side window of a car that was parked overnight in the 700 block of Ludlow Street.

A pool ball in a sock was used to dent a car that was parked about 5:20 p.m. in the 2800 block of Benninghofen Avenue. Another car was damaged about the same time in the 600 block of Minor Avenue.

Various tools that were valued at more than $800 were taken between July 5 and July 7 from a truck parked in the 1100 block of Cadillac Drive.

A GPS device, a portable DVD player and other items were taken overnight from a vehicle parked in the 0 to 100 block of Winston Drive.

Between May 25 and July 6, someone cashed several checks for more than $360 from an account belonging to a resident in the 1200 block of Azel Avenue. In addition, nearly $2,700 in various computer games and systems, jewelry, musical instruments and other items was also reported missing.

A camera and a small amount of cash were taken overnight from a vehicle parked in the 1100 block of Highland Avenue.

A citizen’s band radio was taken overnight from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 300 block of Thomas Boulevard.

More than $120 was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked overnight in the 1600 block of Cereal Avenue.
