HAMILTON POLICE DEPARTMENT

June 4

An air compressor and hose and a Skillsaw were items taken about 4:45 a.m. during a break-in from an unlocked garage in the 300 block of Belle Avenue.

A laptop computer valued at $1,200 was taken overnight from a basement at a residence in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue.

A GPS device and an electric plug unit for a tow wire harness were taken overnight June 3 while the vehicle was parked in the 300 block of Chase Avenue.

Bags containing a mobile tire compressor and jumper cables, tools and other items were taken between 4:15 and 5:56 p.m. from a vehicle while it was parked in the area of Liberty Street at Ridgelawn Avenue.

June 5

A bicycle valued at $600 was taken overnight June 3 from a shed in the 100 block of Hueston Street.

More than $500 in fishing gear was taken overnight from a shed in the 1800 block of Parkamo Avenue.

An assault was reported about 9 p.m. June 2 in the 2300 block of Pleasant Avenue.

More than $1,000 in steaks and other groceries were taken between May 29 and June 1 from the Main Street Market, 1204 Main St. The suspects entered the business and placed the food in a large shopping bag and left during those dates without paying for it.

A chain saw, a pressure washer and a tool box with tools were taken overnight from a van that was parked in the 500 block of Puthoff Street.

A laptop computer was taken from a garage about 10:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Hedgington Court.

The right rear door of a vehicle was scratched overnight June 4 while it was parked in the 100 block of Glencross Avenue.

A bag full of nail painting items, valued at $450, was taken overnight June 4 from a residence in the 300 block of Clinton Street.

Two buses owned by Colonial Community Retirement were spray painted between June 2 and June 4 while they were parked in a lot across from 855 Stahlheber Road.

June 6

A sharp object was used to puncture the tires of a vehicle while it was parked between 2 p.m. June 5 and 12:50 a.m. June 6 in the 500 block of Prytania Avenue. The vehicle was also covered with baking flour and tomato soup.

Someone threw bottles at a vehicle that was parked about 9:41 p.m. at Hamilton Police Headquarters, 331 S. Front St. Damage was caused to the top and passenger side of the vehicle.

More than $6,800 in various pieces of jewelry and a handgun were taken between Sept. 1, 2011 and March 1 from a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Calan Court.
