HAMILTON - A 54-year old Hamilton man faces 20 years in prison if he is found guilty on two rape charges in Butler County.
A grand jury indicted Michael Butcher, 1695 Ray Combs Ave., on two counts of rape last week. Assistant Prosecutor Jennifer McElfresh said the charges are that Butcher allegedly raped someone by force and the person was not capable of consent. Not wanting to identify the victim, McElfresh said she couldn’t give any more details other than this allegedly occurred in Hamilton in February.
A warrant was issued for Butcher’s arrest on Wednesday.
