Christ Hospital names new CEO

CINCINNATI —

The Christ Hospital Health Network has named Mike Keating its new president and chief executive officer effective immediately, hospital officials said Monday.

Keating has been in the position on an interim basis since previous CEO Susan Croushore stepped down in September of last year. He has been a hospital board member for more than 21 years, including acting as the board chair for five years, Christ Hospital said.

Keating is also co-founder and managing partner of a private investment firm. Previously, the new hospital CEO was executive vice president of Cincinnati-based Fifth Third Bancorp, according to the hospital.

Christ Hospital, located in the Cincinnati community Mount Auburn, is an independent health system with more than 100 outpatient locations in Greater Cincinnati, including Butler County, and approximately 4,800 employees. The main hospital has 555 licensed inpatient beds.
