HAMILTON —
Eaton Road has reopened where a downed pole caused a temporary closure.
Around 2:45 p.m., a vehicle slid into a pole near the hill on Eaton Road. The road was closed between Taft Place and Gordon Smith Boulevard, while crews worked to set in a new pole, said Hamilton police Detective Richard Burkhardt.
The road reopened around 4 p.m.
